Before the first coat
Do I need a primer under a specialty finish?
Usually yes — lime plaster, milk paint and stone-effect coatings all want a bonding primer on anything glossy or previously painted. The manufacturer's instruction sheet on each product page is the authority.
How much will one tin cover?
Coverage is printed on each product page in square feet, taken from the manufacturer's own figure. Porous and textured surfaces will use more than the stated rate.
Can these ship by air or express?
No. Liquid coatings move by ground only, which is why standard shipping is the single option at checkout. Delivery windows are on the shipping policy page.
Can I return an opened tin?
Opened coatings cannot be resold and cannot be returned. Unopened, undamaged tins in original packaging are covered by the return and refund policy.
